• I am not running can I participate by volunteering?

  YES...Volunteers are needed and greatly appreciated! Students please bring any volunteer hours verification forms you may have from your school. Click on the register now link and add yourself to the volunteer roster

• Will there be port-o-potties along the course?

  Yes: Porta Potties will be on the course about every 1.5 miles, free standing bathrooms at the park.

• Can I walk the course?

  Yes: walkers are welcome, stroller moms, and walking clubs as well, please stay to the right of the path at all times. Those of you who are new to 5k, are encouraged to come out and push yourself to new limits of fitness. All of our courses are designed with EVERYONE in mind!

• Is the course accurately measured and marked?

  Yes: We have measured the course using a GPS watch and checked it three different times with three different runners. That is the best we can do, as you know GPS will vary slightly from time to time but it’s the best we can offer for you. Feel free to check it out on your own watch if you have time prior to the race. There will be mile markers on the course.

  This is your last chance to register for this race, there are no discounts at packet pickup. Cash or credit card, NO CHECKS.

• Can I pick up my race packet on race day?

  YES...you can pick up your race packet on race day, but we advise you to come early!! There may be hundreds of people trying to get into the same area all at once.

• What kind of t-shirts will we be getting?

  Tech shirts that are men’s specific and women’s specific sizes. Tech shirts are more fitted moisture wicking types of shirts

• Starting Line Location?

  Rancho Simi Community park, 1765 Royal Ave, Simi Valley CA 93065
  Corner of Royal / Thompson rd.

• Parking? ... Where do we park?

  We have two large parking lots that should hold everyone. Come early and be patient. There will be hundreds of people trying to get into the same place all at once. Over flow parking at Royal High school a couple of blocks from the starting line.

  Race results will be posted as follows:
  5k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 8:30 am

• Is there a refund policy for this race?

  Sorry but no...There are no refunds! But you can transfer your entry to any other event we produce found at www.EliteSportsCA.com

• Port a potty locations:

  at turnaround point 1.5 miles from start line

• I don’t know the course should I just follow someone?

  NO: All athletes are required to know the entire course prior to stepping onto the starting line. Please study the race course map on this site, and maybe drive the course if you have time prior to race day.
